Robert Valley's episode for Season 2 of the Netflix anthology series 'Love Death & Roberts' was animated by Passion Pictures.
My animation was always with close direction by Robert Valley to achieve his distinctive artistic style, with extensive layout by the director himself.
The reel above showcases several of my shots. The rough animation was done in TV Paint, I have accompanied versions of the final comp to demonstrate the final look of the short film.
Below are run cycles of several of the characters I worked on with Rob, for a beautiful slow motion shot in the climactic moments of the film.
